First Workout of the New Year
Lots of energy for my first workout of 2011. I had some ’90s hip hop playing on the iPod - Tribe, PE, DeLa, Special Ed just to name a few.
I did Day 1 of KB Muscle and then finished with 2 rounds of an Ab circuit of…
1) blast strap fall-outs x 15 2) reverse Ab curls x 15 3) McGill opposite hip touches x 20
Abs were hurting afterward.
I find that I’m progressing well using KB Muscle and that I am able to tolerate more work. My military press has always been my weakest lift, but in this phase, once i’m able to really focus, power breathe and fire my lats, the bells are going up easier and easier.
Overall, a great showing for the first workout of 2011!
